Suzanne M. Russell age 58, of Galax, Virginia passed away peacefully on Friday April 22, 2022 in her home. She was the best wife, mother, Granna, daughter, sister, and friend. She lit up any room with her beautiful smile. Suzanne cherished her family and lived her life always putting others first and living for the Lord.

Suzanne was born on October 3, 1963 in Galax, Virginia to Elden Kenneth and the late Frances Monday Marshall.

She is survived by her husband Curtis Glenn Russell of Galax, Virginia; daughter Alexa Laken Russell of Galax, Virginia; daughter and son-in-law Channing and Jarrett Combs of Fancy Gap, Virginia; sister and brother-in-law Michelle and Harry "Cookie" Burnette of Galax, Virginia; grandchildren Easton and Saylor Combs; father and step-mother Elden and  Dana Marshall of Hillsville, Virginia; nephew and wife Jacob "Levi" and Hannah Burnette; great niece Lorelai Burnette; great nephew Cooper Burnette; father-in-law and mother-in-law Guy and Marie Russell Jr. of Galax, Virginia; several aunts and uncles.

The funeral service will be held Monday April 25, 2022 at 2:00PM at Locust Grove Church of Christ with Craig Embree and Bill Dinwiddie officiating. Burial will follow on family property. The family will receive friends from 4:00PM until 6:00PM on Sunday April 24, 2022 at the church.
