Susanne Marie Nolan age 58 of Independence, Virginia passed away Saturday August 27, 2022 in the Twin County Regional Hospital.

Susanne was born in Somerville, Massachusetts on March 2, 1964 to Thomas Joseph and Alma Jean Dyer Nolan. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by an aunt Ruth Terry.

She is survived by her children and spouses Desire and Dan Shupe of Fayetteville, North Carolina; Joseph and Tina Shupe of Tennessee; Kaleigh Landaeta of Florida; two sisters Jeannie Nolan and Sandra Nolan both of Independence, Virginia; niece and husband Cannette and Durand Nester of Independence, Virginia; nephew and wife Thomas and Sanova Nolan of North Carolina; grandchildren Cadence Shupe; Michael Marchetti; Melody Marchetti; Iliana Shupe; several other nieces and nephews; special friends Natasha Hawks and Destiny Hawks; her dear dog Zilla which was her service dog companion.

A family private Celebration of Life Service will be held at a later date.
