Susan Diane Anderson Cook age 58 of Galax, Virginia passed away Monday, February 23, 2015 at her home.
Susan was born in Galax, Virginia on February 5, 1957 to Rex and Etta Lee Vass Anderson. Her mother preceded her in death.
She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law Sharon and Jamie Sharpe of Galax, Virginia; son and daughter-in-law Brian and Sarah McClean of Orange Grove, Texas; parents Rex and Sharon Anderson of Galax, Virginia; sister Lorene Anderson of Galax, Virginia; brother and sister Kenneth and Nancy Anderson of Galax, Virginia; step-brothers and spouses Jeff and Libby Haga of Galax, Virginia; Sean and Christine Haga of Watertown, New York; four grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
The funeral service will be held Thursday, February 26, 2015 at 2:00 PM in the Vaughan-Guynn Chapel with Rev. James Cowley officiating. Burial will follow in the Monta Vista Cemetery. The family will receive friends Thursday from 1:00 PM until time for the funeral service at Vaughan-Guynn Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the family in care of Rex Anderson, 1859 Mallory Road, Woodlawn, Virginia 24381. Food may be taken to the Hillcrest Baptist Church.
