Sula Jane McCollem Holt age 90 of Galax, Virginia passed away Thursday, January 8, 2026  in the Waddell Nursing & Rehab Center.

Mrs. Holt was born on March 16, 1935 in North Carolina to John and Leola Vestal McCollem. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a great-granddaughter Morgan Hill and seven siblings.

She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law Terry and April Holt; daughter and son-in-law Cheryl and Dennis Little; grandchildren and spouses Chastity and GW Hill; Tiffany and Michael Roberts; Nicholas and Heather Holt; Jessica and Bubba Horseman; Jennifer and Mark Darnell; Denise Little; great-grandchildren Taylor; Saydee; Shayla; Simon;  Laikyn; Marleigh; Josie; Colson; Hylee; Devan; Jasmine; Olivia; Jacob and Southern; two great-great-grandchildren Kacey and Colt.

The funeral service will be held Sunday at 2:00 PM in the Vaughan-Guynn Chapel with Pastor Sam Blevins officiating. Burial will follow in the River Hill Cemetery. There will be no visitation at the funeral home.
