Stephie Bean

Stephie Nicole Bean, age 40, of Galax, Virginia unfortunately passed away Wednesday, September 9th, 2026.

She is survived by her parents, Benjamin Tracy Bean of Galax, VA and Vanessa Marcelle McBride of Galax, VA, Siblings Nick Bean and Cadence Bean of Galax, VA and Harleigh McBride of Galax, VA, special cousins Jimmy Bean, Sonni Felts, Sarah Bean, JT Bean; Missy Payne; Dana Hampton; Ashton Bowen and Dillon Bowen; special aunt CJ Hampton and niece Myia Bean.

She is preceded in death by her Granny and Pa Bean, uncle Kelly Bean and special cousin Michael “Bobo” Bean.

Stephie was known for her infectious laugh, selflessness towards others, and unwavering love for those closest to her. She is described as being a light in everyone’s life that she came in contact with. She will be greatly missed by those closest to her.

Stephie’s service will be held at the Seventh Day Adventist Church on Sunday September 20th from 12-4. Any donations can be made to the Vaughan-Guynn Funeral Home.
