Stephenie Ann Kenny, 46, of Galax passed away Thursday, October 31, 2013 in the Twin County Regional Hospital. Stephenie was born February 24, 1967 in Sumter, South Carolina to the late Sam Alvin Mathews and Carol Benenhaley Mathews.

She is survived by her husband Tony Kenny of the home; daughter Rhiannon Haley Kenny of Galax; brother and sister-in-law: Steve and Jennifer Mathews of Woodlawn, Virginia; nephews and nieces Tyler and Morgan Mathews, Dalton Robinson, Kiaria Ashworth, Noah Kenny, Hanson Kenny, and Lucas Kenny.

A graveside service will be held Monday, November 4, 2013 at 3:30 PM in the Midway Baptist Church Cemetery with Pastor Myron Dalton officiating. The family will receive friends at the Vaughan-Guynn Funeral Home Monday, November 4, 2013 from 2: PM until 3:00 PM.
