Starling Leon Robertson age 57 of Kernersville, N.C. passed away Tuesday, March 27, 2007 at his home. Mr. Robertson was born in Grayson County, Va. on September 18, 1949 to Elmo & Opal Barber Robertson. In addition to his mother Opal Barber Robinson of Galax, Va. he is survived by a daughter Brandi Robertson of Lowgap, N.C.; son Brent Robertson of Beulah, N.C.; sister & brother-in-law Linda & Terry Edwards of High Point, N.C.; brothers & sister-in-law Elwood Dotson of Galax, Va.; Wayne & Brenda Dotson of Mt. Airy, N.C.; several nieces & nephews. The funeral service will be held Friday, March 30, 2007 at 2:00 PM in Vaughan-Guynn Chapel with Major Terry Edwards & Rev. Garry Adams officiating. Burial will follow in the Liberty Hill Cemetery at Fries, Va.. The family will receive friends Thursday evening from seven until nine at Vaughan-Guynn Funeral Home.
