Stanley Joseph Green's Obituary
Staney Joseph Green, age 70, of Galax, Va. passed away Saturday April 3, 2010 in Roanoke Memorial Hospital.
Mr. Green was born March 8, 1940 to Joseph David and Minnie Elizabeth Hall Green in Davy, West Virginia. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by a daughter Tina Green Johnson.
He is survived by his wife, Brenda Crouse Green, of the home, daughter and son-in-law Tracy and Chris Harris of Galax, Va,; three grandchildren Tyler, Chase and Caitlin Harris, brothers and spouses Lloyd and Ruth Green; Wallace and Louise Green all of Galax, sister-in-law Doris Green of Bluefield, West Va.; sister-in-law and spouse Linda & Richard Caudil of Texas; brothers-in-law and spouses Jerry & Linda Crouse;
Virgil and Norma Crouse, of Galax, Va.; several nieces and nephews.
A graveside service will be held Wednesday, April 7, 2010 at 12:00 noon at the Haven of Rest Cemetery with Rev.Keith Ledford officiating. The family will receive friends from 7:00 PM unitl 9:00 PM Tuesday at Vaughan-Guynn Funeral Home.
