Stanley Buford Blevins, age 78, of Woodlawn, Virginia passed away Friday February 11, 2022 in his home.

Stanley was born on February 6, 1944 in Grayson County, Virginia to the late Garnett and Elizabeth Vaughan Blevins.

He is survived by his wife Carrie Byrd Blevins of Woodlawn, Virginia; sons and daughters-in-law Stanley Blevins of Roanoke, Virginia, Mark Higgins of Trinity, North Carolina, James and Valerie Blevins of Hillsville, Virginia, Robert and Kimberly Blevins of Galax, Virginia; and stepdaughter Carol Hamm of Mt. Airy, North Carolina. Also surviving are seven grandchildren, three great-grandchildren, two step-grandchildren, and four step-great-grandchildren.

A graveside service will be held on Tuesday February 15, 2022 at 1PM in Pleasant Home Union Baptist Church Cemetery with Brandon Blevins officiating. Military Rites will be conducted by Grayson VFW Post #7726. Burial will follow. There will be no visitation.
