Sidney Gilmer Roberts age 87 of Woodlawn, Virginia passed away Friday July 22, 2022 in the Waddle Nursing and Rehab Center.

Mr. Roberts was born in Carroll County, Virginia on December 18, 1934 to Andy and Callie Lineberry Roberts. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his son Michael Roberts; siblings and spouses Eva Lineberry; Grace and Charles Cole; Ethel and Joe Foster; Clovis and Morris Parnell; Pauline and Bobby Jones; Clara and John Bobbitt; John Roberts; Carroll and Betty Roberts.

He is survived by his wife Betty Frost Roberts of Woodlawn, Virginia; daughter and son-in-law Karen and Raul Flores of Yorktown, Virginia; grandson and wife Brandon and Madison Bartlett of Virginia Beach, Virginia; sister Ruby Russell of Galax, Virginia; several nieces and nephews; special friend Dean Cornett.

A graveside service will be held Sunday at 2:00 PM in the Monta Vista Cemetery with Wayne Frost, Carroll Lineberry and Harry Frost officiating. There will be no visitation at the funeral home. The family respectfully request no flowers or food please. Donations may be made to the Gambetta Church of Christ.
