Shirley Ann Sowers' Obituary
Shirley Ann Sowers age 69 of Floyd, Virginia and formerly of Hillsville, Virginia passed away Sunday afternoon at her home.
Shirley was born on February 20, 1948 in Carroll County, Virginia to Kyle George and Ruth Myrtle Sexton Freeman.
She is survived by her sons and daughters-in-law Tommy and Deanna Sowers; Kevin and Sarah Sowers all of Floyd, Virginia; grandchildren Ryan Sowers; Camron Sowers and Chandler Sowers; brother Bill Freeman of Christiansburg, Virginia; nieces Angela Hubbard and Cher Blevins; special cousin Carol Boring; special friends Robin Bond and Amanda Clontz.
The funeral service will be held Wednesday, July 5, 2017 at 11:00 AM in the Vaughan-Guynn Chapel with Pastor John Chambers and Pastor Jeff Dalton officiating. Burial will follow in the Monta Vista Cemetery. The family will receive friends Wednesday from 10:00 AM until time for the funeral service at the Vaughan-Guynn Funeral Home.
