Shirley Marie Price age 80 of Galax, Virginia entered into Heaven on Saturday, May 25, 2019 at the Forsyth Medical Center.

Mrs. Price was born on February 20, 1939 in Grayson County, Virginia to Coon B. and Ethel Marie Hill Thomason. In addition to her parent s she was preceded in death by her husband of 52 years Clarence Edgar Price; two brothers Bill Thomason and Early Thomason and a sister Lottie Bowers.

She is survived by a daughter and son-in-law Teresa and Jerry Burcham of Galax, Virginia; sons and daughters-in-law Randy and Shelia Price; Ronnie and Pam Price all of Fries, Virginia; four grandchildren Shane Burcham; Heather Burcham; Matthew Burcham and Ronnie Price, Jr. ; eight great-grandchildren; sisters and brother-in-law Lillie Mae and Herbert Joyce of Mt. Airy,  North Carolina; Margaret  Newman of Galax, Virginia; Brothers Dan Thomason and Herman Thomason both of Galax, Virginia; several nieces and nephews.

A graveside service will be held Wednesday at 3:30 PM in the Crab Creek Cemetery. The family will receive friends Wednesday from 2:00 PM until 3:00 PM at the Vaughan-Guynn Funeral Home.
