Shirley Eastridge Patton age 91 of Galax, Virginia passed away Monday, March 16, 2026 in the Waddell Nursing and Rehab Center.

Mrs. Patton was born on July 4, 1934 in Carroll County, Virginia to Joseph and Rina Lou Edwards Eastridge. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Nelson Patton and son Craig Patton.

She is survived by her sons and daughter-in-law Kenneth Patton of Westwood, Kansas; Cliff and Cecelia Patton of Galax, Virgina; sister Wanda Hash of Gastonia, North Carolina; four grandchildren Michael Patton; Matthew Patton; William Patton and Amelia Patton; two great-grandchildren Andrew Patton and Walker Patton.

A graveside service will be held Saturday at 11:00 AM in the McKenzie Cemetery with Gale Rippey officiating. There will be no visitation at the funeral home.
