Shirley Jane Lineberry Swinney, age 83, died Dec. 09, 2017 at her home in Fries, VA.
Mrs. Swinney was born in Virginia, April 30, 1934, to the late Heath Montique and Bessie Iona Lineberry.
She is survived by her husband, Clyde Bayne Swinney, Fries, VA; son, Charles Homer Patton, Galax, VA; sister, Linda Sue Newman, Crockett, Virginia; brothers, Marshall J.D. Lineberry, Pulaski, VA and Billy Dean Lineberry, Pulaski, VA.
The funeral service will be held Tuesday, Dec. 12, 2017 at 2:00 PM in the Vaughan-Guynn Funeral Home Chapel with Jason Kline officiating. Burial will be at the Liberty Hill Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 1:00 PM until time for the funeral service on Tuesday at the Vaughan-Guynn Funeral Home.
The family wishes to express their appreciation to Mountain Valley Hospice. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Fries Fire Department and Rescue Squad, P.O.Box 9 Fries, Virginia 24330.
