Shirley Hodge age 57 of Galax, Va. passed away Friday, December 7, 2007 at her home. Mrs. Hodge was born on April 9, 1950 in Carroll County, Va. to Troy & Hazel Hodge Walls. She is survived by her husband Roy Hodge of Galax, Va.; son & daughter-in-law David & Tammy Hodge of Cana, Va.; daughters Sherry Hodge of Galax, Va.; Megan Hodge of the home; brother Tony Walls of Hillsville, Va.; sister & brother-in-law Judy & Roger Brewer of Galax, Va.;four grandchildren and several nieces & nephews. The funeral service will be held Sunday, December 9, 2007 at 2:00 pm in Vaughan-Guynn Chapel with Rev. Eddie Bailey and Rev. Robert McLean officiating. Burial will follow in Monta Vista Cemetery. The family will receive friends Saturday evening from seven until nine at Vaughan-Guynn Funeral Home.
