Shirley Mae Eller Hill age 73 of Fries, Virginia passed away Sunday, February 5, 2012 at her home.
Shirley was born on May 7, 1939 in Grayson County, Virginia to Walter and Dorothy Bourne Eller. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by a son Clarence Edward Hill, Jr.
She is survived by a daughter Shelia Hill Haga of Independence, Virginia; grandchildren and spouse Tyler Rutherford, Laken Rutherford; Courtnie and Adam Sparks; brother and sister-in-law Pat and Lenora Eller of Welcome, North Carolina; sisters and brother-in-law Faye Snow of Fries, Virginia; Darlene and Paul Aldred of Richmod, Virginia; several nieces and nephews; several great-nieces and nephews; special friend and caregiver Shirley Dixon.
The funeral service will be held Wednesday, February 8, 2012 at 2:00 PM in the Fries Church of God of Prophecy with Rev. Tony Vaughan officiating. Burial will follow in the Fries Cemetery. The family will receive friends Tuesday evening from six until eight at the Fries Church of God of Prophecy.
