Shirley Gray Burris' Obituary
Shirley Gray Burris, 77, of Galax, Virginia passed away Friday, November 7, 2014 in the Woltz Hospice Home, 945 Zephyr Road, Dobson, North Carolina. Mrs. Burris was born in Galax, Virginia on May 31, 1937 to the late Luther Lorenzo Burton and Vinnie Lowe Burton. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Charles Lake Burris.
She is survived by her daughter Connie Burris Roberts of Fries, Virginia; son and daughter-in-law Ricky and Sarah Burris of Galax, Virginia; three grandchildren Seth Burris, Caleb Burris, and Emily Burris, special friend Angel, and several nieces and nephews.
A graveside service will be held Saturday, November 8, 2014 at 12:00 noon in the Felts Cemetery, Galax, Virginia with Craig Embree officiating. There will be no visitation at the funeral home.
