Shirley Jean Bowman age 76 of Galax, Virginia passed away Tuesday, February 20, 2024 in the Galax Health and Rehab Center.
Shirley was born on September 17, 1947 in Roan Mountain, Tennessee to Paul and Grace Miller.
She is survived by her husband James Wesley Bowman, Jr. of Galax, Virginia, stepdaughter Maggie Bowman of Kernersville, North Carolina.
A memorial service will be held Saturday, March 2, 2024 at 11:00 AM in the Mt. Vale Methodist Church with Pastor Charles Lindquist officiating. There will be no visitation.
