Shirley Ann Amburn Vaught, 77, passed away Monday, December 9, 2013 in the Twin County Regional Hospital, Galax, VA. Shirley was born March 24, 1936 in Carroll County, Virginia to the late Fred & Ruby Amburn.
She is survived by her husband Dallas L. Vaught of the home; daughter and son-in-law: Carmen and Dwight Osborne of Woodlawn, Virginia; son and daughter-in-law: Dale and Kimberly Vaught of Lexington, Kentucky. Two grandsons Chandler Vaught and Grant Vaught also survive.
A graveside service will be held Friday, December 13, 2013 at 2:00 PM at the Blue Ridge Chapel Cemetery with Leo Phillips officiating. The family will receive friends Thursday evening, December 12, from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM at Vaughan-Guynn.
Flowers will be appreciated or donations may be made to the Blue Ridge Chapel Cemetery Fund, c/o C. Merle Barker, 6934 Pipers Gap Road, Galax, VA 24333
