Sherry Ann Lawrence age 76 of Galax, Virginia passed away Tuesday, June 18, 2019 in the Medi Home Seniors Group Home in Independence, Virginia.

Mrs. Lawrence was born in Akron, Ohio on October 16, 1942 to Frank Stouffer and Mildred Faye Dillon Elliott. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Harry Douglas Lawrence.

She is survived by special cousins Terry and Linda Dillon; special friends Ralph and Della Vaughan; Danny and Towana Cox; special companion Katie Mae.

The family will receive friends Thursday evening from five until seven at the Vaughan-Guynn Funeral Home. A memorial graveside service will be held Saturday at 11:00 AM in the Galyean Cemetery with the Rev. Lee Houston officiating.
