Sherry Lynn Forster, 46, of Pulaski passed away Monday September 10, 2018 in the Holston Valley Medical Center, Kingsport, Tennessee. Sherry was born November 7, 1971 in Suffolk, Virginia to the late John Benjamin Asbell and Rose Melba Chaney Asbell Dyke.  In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by a brother John Asbell.

She is survived by daughters Raquel Barrera of Richmond, Virginia and Stephanie Barrera of Pulaski, Virginia; son Jeremiah Barrera of Pulaski, Virginia; sisters and brother-in-law: Rose Marie Hilton of Dublin, Virginia; Lori and Tony Eller of Independence, Virginia; brother and sister-in-law Mike and Betty Asbell of Low Gap, North Carolina; grandchildren Selena Barrera, Gabrianna Barrera, R'asir Salaam; niece Christina Eller; nephews Steven Eller, Bo Asbell and Ben Asbell; several great nieces and nephews; several aunts, uncles, cousins and special friend William Forster.

The funeral will be held Wednesday, September 19, 2018 at 2:00 PM in the Vaughan-Guynn Chapel with Pastor Carson Linkous officiating. Interment will follow in the Forest United Methodist Church Cemetery.  The family will receive friends from 1:00 PM until service time at the funeral home.
