Shelia Dianne Chapman age 64 of Galax, Virginia passed away Thursday, April 15, 2010 at North Carolina Baptist Hospital.
Shelia was born on February 10, 1946 in Wilmington, N.C. to Joseph Herman & Margaret Long Cheek. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by a brother Billy Cheek and step-son Chris Chapman.
She is survived by her husband Carl R. Chapman of Galax, Va.; daughters & sons-in-law Jennifer & David Shaw of Galax, Va.; Melissa & Derrick Branscome of Hillsville, Va.; son Kenneth W. Martin of Charlotte, N.C.; eleven grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held Sunday, April 18, 2010 at 3:00 pm in Vaughan-Guynn Chapel with Rev. Bill Ring officiating. The family will receive friends Sunday from 2:00 pm until service time at Vaughan-Guynn Funeral Home.
