Shelby Jean Huff age 82 of Galax, Virginia passed away Sunday, June 23, 2019 in the Forsyth Medical Center in Winston-Salem, North Carolina.

Mrs. Huff was born in Grayson County, Virginia on March 25, 1937 to Herman and Hattie Bell Phibbs Funk.

She is survived by her husband Robert (Jack) Huff of Galax. Virginia; son and daughter-in-law Lance and Susanne Huff of Knoxville, Tennessee; two grandchildren Gracie Huff and Sydney Huff; brothers and sisters-in-law Roy and Mary Funk of Wytheville, Virginia; Talmadge and Linda Funk of Elkton, Maryland; Elwood Funk of Galax, Virginia; several nieces and nephews.

The funeral service will be held Saturday, June 29, 2019 at 11:00 AM in the Vaughan-Guynn Chapel with the Rev. James Billings officiating. Burial will follow in the Monta Vista Cemetery. There will be no visitation at the funeral home.
