Sharmane "Jean" Howard, age 66, passed away Monday November 15, 2021. She was born on December 13, 1954 to Pervis Jackson and Emmer Margaret Howard. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sisters Lisa Howard and Barbara Howard.

Jean is survived by her son Andrew Matthan Howard; grandchildren Easton Howard and Peirce Howard. Also surviving are nieces Amanda Howard Smith, Hillary Johnson, Zoey Howard, Selah Smith, Sky Howard, Audri Howard, Verity Howard; nephews John David Howard, Justin Howard, Seth Smith, Luke Smith, David Jacob Howard; and aunts Paris Phipps and Hazel McMillian.

There will be a graveside service on Sunday November 21, 2021 at 8:30AM in Gaston Memorial Park in Gastonia, North Carolina with Pastor Benjamin Hinton officiating.

A Celebration of Life Memorial Service will be held Sunday November 21, 2021 at 3PM in Vaughan-Guynn Funeral Home.
