Scott David Thompson age 63 of Galax, Virginia passed away Sunday , May 16, 2021 at his home.

Scott was born on August 14, 1957 in San Diego, California to Bernard and Dorothy Minard Thompson. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister Karen Bourne.

He is survived by his wife Becky Thompson of Galax, Virginia; step-daughter Caitlin Huffman of Myrtle Beach, South Carolina; step-son and wife Justin and Kelsey Huffman of Salem Virginia; step-grandson Joe Huffman; brother and sister-in-law Tm and Evie Thompson  of Melbourne, Florida; several nieces and nephews.
There will be no services for Scott at this time.
