Sanford Bela Lam, Jr. known as Butch Lam age 62 of Galax, Virginia passed away Monday, April 21, 2014 in the Twin County Regional Hospital.
Butch was born in Carroll County, Virginia on November 24, 1951 to Sanford Lam, Sr. and Viola Burnette Lam.
He is survived by his wife Shirley Lineberry Lam, daughters and son-in-law Nicole Lam; Angie and Billy Slate; son and daughter-in-law Sanford Lam III and Jill all of Galax, Virginia; seven grandchildren Ashley Bailey; Brittany Bailey; Matt Marshall; Justin Lam; Katie Lam, Jay Slate and Violet Lam; sister Sandra Billings of Hillsville, Virginia; brother and sister-in-law Doug and Amy Lam of Galax, Virginia; several nieces and nephews.
A graveside service will be held Wednesday, April 23, 2014 at 11:00 AM in the Lineberry Cemetery with Billy Burnette officiating. There will be no visitation at the funeral home.
