Sandra Mae Taylor Babcock, age 73, Woodlawn, VA, died Friday, Nov. 13, 2015 in the NC Baptist Hospital, Winston Salem, NC.
Mrs. Babcock was born July 6, 2015 in Wilson, NY to Lloyd William and Thelma Longman Legg Taylor.
She was preceded in death by her parents and survived by her husband, Lester Babcock, Woodlawn, VA; daughter and son-in-law, Shelley Lynn and Gary Bailey, Niagra Falls, NY; sons, Kevin William Babcock, Fries, VA, Lester John Babcock and fiancae, Megan Berze, Galax, VA; brother, Gary Dickerson, Sandburn, NY and "loved like a son" Benny Lee Gilbert; Also surviving, many grandchildren and great-grandchildren
The funeral service will be held Monday, Nov. 16, 2015 at 7:00 PM at the Vaughan-Guynn Chapel, Galax, VA. The family will receive friends from 5:00 PM until 7:00 PM prior to the funeral service on Monday at the funeral home. Officiating minister will be Dr. Ronny Harrison.
