Sandra Ellen Farmer Coleman, loving wife, mother and grandmother age 83 of Fries, Virginia passed away Saturday, August 23, 2025 at her home surrounded by her family after a long battle with Alzheimer's disease.

Sandra was born on February 13, 1942 in Hillsville, Virginia to Walter Edgar and Mattie Evelyn Smith Farmer. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister Nancy Shaw and her brother Robert Farmer.

She is survived by her husband Rodney Scott Coleman; daughter and son-in-law Tammy and Johnny Lambert all of Fries, Virginia; son and daughter-in-law Butch and Cheryl Coleman of Laurel Fork, Virginia; grandchildren and spouses Jessup and Cheyenne Lambert of Willis, Virginia; Shiann Coleman of Virginia Beach, Virginia; Jason Nester of Laurel Fork, Virginia; Jennifer Farmer; four great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.

There will be no service at this time, a Celebration of Life Service will be held at a later date.
