Sandra Marcella White Cockerham age 71 of Woodlawn, Virginia passed away Thursday, July 13, 2017 in the Twin County Regional Hospital.
Sandra was born in Carroll County, Virginia on August 26,1945 to Oscar and Bertie Harrison White.
She is survived by her husband Robert Wendell Cockerham of Woodlawn, Virginia; daughters and sons-in-law Marcella and Bobby Taylor of Rural Retreat, Virginia; Tricia and Steven Todd Chandler of Woodlawn, Virginia; four grandchildren Emily Chandler; Kaci Chandler; Erica Testerman and Kala Abel; four great-grandchildren Marshall Abel; Hunter Abel; Kallie Abel and Claire Testerman; sister Sue Lundy of Galax, Virginia; sister-in-law Madeline Gardner of Low Gap, North Carolina; brother-in-law and wife Lance and Marcella Cockerham of Springfield, Virginia; several nieces and nephews.
The funeral service will be held Monday, July 17, 2017 at 2:00 PM in the Vaughan-Guynn Chapel with Billy Burnette officiating. Burial will follow in the Mt. Olivet Cemetery at Cranberry. The family will receive friends Sunday evening from six until eight at the Vaughan-Guynn Funeral Home.
