Samuel Jackson Todd age 61 of Galax, Virginia passed away Monday, May 22, 2017.
Sam was born in Galax, Virginia on February 15, 1956 to Howard Rudolph and Sally Parnetta Pillow Todd. In addition to his mother he was preceded in death by his brother Tim Todd and mother-in-law Gelene Dalton.
He is survived by his wife Rhonda Todd of Galax, Virginia; father and step-mother Rudy and Jan Todd of Galax, Virginia; sister-in-law Pam Todd of Lewisville, North Carolina; special aunt Faye Cochran of Fries, Virginia; father-in-law and step-mother-in-law Everett and Sue Dalton of Galax, Virginia.
A private memorial service will be held at a later date. There will be no visitation at the funeral home but friends may call at the home anytime. In lieu of flowers the family request donations be made to either the Pipers Gap Rescue Squad or to the Galax Fire Department.
