Samuel Roy Johnson age 52 of Ivanhoe, Virginia passed away Saturday, October 5, 2013 at his home.
Samuel was born in Galax, Virginia on October 12, 1960 to the late Winfred Johnson, Sr. and Mildred Byrd Johnson.
He is survived by his son and daughter-in-law Brandon and Debbie Johnson of Ivanhoe, Virginia; grandchildren Blake Johnson, Cameron Johnson and Kimberly Johnson; sister and brother-in-law Debbie Swinney and Darrell of Fries, Virginia; brothers and sisters-in-law Winfred Johnson, Jr. and Beverly of Fries, Virginia; Curt Johnson and Sherry of Independence, Virginia; several nieces and nephews.
A private memorial service will be held at a later date.
