Ruthie Triplett Alderman age 77 of Galax, Va. passed away Thursday morning in Forsyth Medical Center. Mrs. Alderman was born on December 6, 1929 in Grayson County, Va. to Kyle & Ina Dalton Triplett. In addition to her parents Ruthie was preceded in death by her husband Ashby Alderman. She is survived by her daughter & son-in-law Charlotte & Elmon Stanley of Hiwassee, Va.; son & daughter-in-law Clay & Debbie Alderman of Martinsville, Va.; son Terry Alderman of Flat Rock, N.C. & his fiancee' Lori Chee-Chee Halle of Galax, Va.; sister & brother-in-law Ruby & Darrell Galyean of Galax, Va.; brother & sister-in-law Daryl & Marcia Triplett of Arizona; six grandchildren & two great-grandchildren. The funeral service will be held Sunday, October 21, 2007 at 2:00 pm in Vaughan-Guynn Chapel with Rev. Glenn Burcham officiating. Burial will follow in Monta Vista Cemetery. The family will receive friends Saturday evening from seven until nine at Vaughan-Guynn Funeral Home.
