Ruth K. Winesette age 97 of Galax, Virginia passed away Friday, March 16, 2012 at the home of her son in Midlothian, VA.
Mrs. Winesette was born on July 28, 1914 in Virginia to James Alexander and Lucy Poindexter Kegley. She was preceded in death by her husband, Bob Winesette and daughter, Sharon Osborne.
Surviving are daughters and son-in-law, Mrs. Pat Reynolds, Blacksburg, VA, Rev. Jerry & Leslie Vaughan, Greenville, TN; son and daughter-in-law, Kem and Martha Winesette, Midlothian, VA; eight grandchildren, ten great-grandchildren, several great-great grandchildren and several nieces & nephews.
The funeral service will be held Tuesday, March 20, 2012 at 11:00 AM in the Vaughan-Guynn Chapel, Galax, VA, Burial will follow in the Felts Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 10:00 AM until time for the funeral service on Tuesday. Officiating minister will be the Rev. Jerry Vaughan.
