Ruth Frances Krause, 79, of Galax passed away Saturday, November 19, 2011 at the Waddell Nursing & Rehab Center, Galax, VA.
Ruth was born January 16, 1932 in Brooklyn, New York to Joseph Rodriguez and Ruth Knobloch Rodriguez.
She is survived by her life partner, Mary "Mickey" Specht of Galax; daughter Carol Krause Lee of Connecticut; son Charles Krause of New York. Two grandchildren and two great grandchildren, and special niece Veronia Bryant of Galax, VA also survive.
Ruth's request was to be cremated. There will be no services at this time.
