Ruth Carolyn Hall Jordan age 97 of Fries, Virginia passed away Friday May 26, 2023 in the Waddell Nursing and Rehab Center.

Mrs. Jordan was born on December 16, 1925 in Grayson County, Virginia to Sisrow Daniel and Addie Rhudy Hall. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Harvey Jordan; one sister and three brothers.

She is survived by a daughter and son-in-law Freda and Joe Carrico of Fries, Virginia; two grandsons;  Robbie Carrico; Barry Carrico (Stephanie) all of Fries, Virginia;  three great-grandchildren Leah Dalton; Levi Carrico; Hannah Carrico; ; one great-great-grandchild Kairi Dalton  and two nieces.

The funeral service will be held Wednesday at 7:00 PM in the Vaughan-Guynn Chapel with Pastor Ricky Bedwell officiating. The family will receive friends Wednesday from 6:00 PM until time for the funeral service. The burial will be on Thursday at 11:00 AM at the Ebenezer Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers the family respectfully request donations be made to the St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St Jude Place, Memphis, Tennessee 38105-9959 or to the charity of the donor's choice.
