Ruth L. Cline Jones, age 86, of Galax, Virginia, formerly of Fries, VA, died Sunday, Nov 9, 2014 at the Waddell Nursing Home, Galax, VA.

Mrs. Jones was born January 29, 1928 in Virginia to Crockett and Mary Dickens Cline. Preceding her in death were her parents and husband, Billy David Jones.

She is survived by daughters & sons-in-law, Diane & Duane Brown, Mary Lee & Don Stoots, Rhonda & J.B. Tolbert;son & daughter-in-law David & Dawn Jones all of Galax, VA; grandchildren & spouses, Dana & Jason Widner, Billy & Amanda Grubb, Scotty & Leanne Grubb, Mack & Brandi Tolbert, Juliana & Shane Nichols, Ian Jones, Neal Jones; great grandchildren, Kassie Widner, Jacey Widner, Ashlyn Grubb, Brendan Grubb, Cayden Grubb, Joshua Tolbert, Paige Nichols, Teagan Grubb, Paige Briggs; brother & spouse, Pierce Edward & Tiny Cline, Baltimore, MD. Numerous nieces & nephews, also, survive.

The funeral service will be held, Tuesday, Nov. 11, 2014 at 11:00 AM in the Vaughan-Guynn Chapel, Galax. Burial will follow in the Felts Cemetery. The family will receive friends Monday, Nov. 10, 2014 from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM at the Vaughan-Guynn Funeral Home, Galax, VA. Officiating minister will be Pastor Rick Watson.
