Ruth Audra Harmon age 86 of Hillsville, Virginia passed away Friday, February 8, 2008 in North Carolina Baptist Hospital. Mrs. Harmon was born in Carroll County, Va. on July 2, 1921 to Conrad R. & Nora Alice Catron Duncan. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Harlie Harmon and a brother Conrad Duncan, Jr.. She is survived by her daughters & son-in-law Sallie Bartlett Ange of Burlington, N.C.; Deenia & Gary Carico of Galax, Va.; grandchildren Matthew T. Ange & Allison & Chuck Sawyers of Christiansburg, Va.; sister Frances Sizemore of Galax, Va.; several nieces & nephews; several great nieces & nephews. The funeral service will be held Sunday, February 10, 2008 at 3:00 pm in Coulson Church of the Brethren with Pastor Russell Payne officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends Saturday night from six until eight at the Coulson Church of the Brethren.
