Rufus Jerry Hamm age 68 of Ennice, North Carolina passed away Wednesday, February 18, 2015 in the Alleghany Memorial Hospital.
Mr. Hamm was born in Danville, Virginia on January 4, 1947 to Carl Henry and Eva Fisher Hamm.
He is survived by his wife Maggie Bourne Hamm of Ennice, North Carolina; daughters and sons-in-law Zelda and Owen Willis; Melissa and Kelvin Allen; Patricia Sheets and David Gibson all of Ennice, North Carolina; son and daughter-in-law Rufus Jerry and Christine Willis of Franklinville, North Carolina; sisters Lizzie Hamm of Eden, North Carolina; Priscilla Wagoner of Danville, Virginia; Edith Dillon and Peggy Dillon both of Eden, North Carolina; brothers Billy Hamm of Mayodan, North Carolina; Joe Hamm of Sparta, North Carolina; half- brother Jack Holly of Stuart, Virginia; eleven grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
The funeral service will be held Monday, February 23, 2015 at 2:00 PM in the Macedonia Free Will Baptist Church with the Rev. Jim Hopson; the Rev. Eddie Foster and Pastor Phil Edwards officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends Sunday from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM at the Vaughan-Guynn Funeral Home.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the family.
