Ruby Gray Russell age 91 of Galax, Virginia passed away Thursday, December 27, 2018 in the Grayson Nursing and Rehab Center.

Mrs. Russell was born in Surry County, North Carolina on July 24, 1927 to Will and Ida Lowe Moxley. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Thomas Eugene Russell and two sons James Earl Russell and Robert Charles Russell.

She is survived by a son and daughter-in-law Stephen Anthony and Nancy Russell; a daughter-in-law Barbara Russell all of Galax, Virginia; three grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.

The funeral service will be held Saturday at 3:00 PM in the Snow Hill Baptist Church with Pastor Rodney Christman officiating. Burial will follow in the Snow Hill Cemetery. The family will receive friends Saturday from 2:00 PM until time for the funeral service at the Snow Hill Baptist Church.
