Ruby Hackler Roberts' Obituary
Ruby Hackler Roberts age 94 of Woodlawn, Virginia passed away Friday, August 20, 2010 at her home.
Mrs. Roberts was born on August 18, 1916 in Grayson County, Virginia to Mina and Ruth Catron Hackler. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Alva Griggs Roberts .
She is survived by two daughters Linda Roberts of Woodlawn, Va.; Virginia Roberts Hamm of Winston-Salem, N.C.; grandchildren Michael Hamm and Deborah H. Bryant (Henry, Jr.); great-grandchildren Henry Bryant III and Andrew Bryant; sister and brother-in-law Swandell Hackler Roberts (Elwood) of Independence, Va.; several nieces and nephews.
The funeral service will be held Sunday, August 22, 2010 at 7:00 pm in Vaughan-Guynn Chapel with Elder Ronald Bowman officiating. Burial will be Monday, August 23, 2010 at 2:00 pm in Hackler Cemetery. The family will receive friends Sunday from six until service time at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers the family request donations be made to the Hackler Cemetery Fund, C/O Louise Milgrim 109 Vista Road, Independence, Va. 24348
