Ruby Creed Norman age 83 , a resident of Waddell Nursing and Rehab Center, Galax, Virginia has made her journey this 7 ^th day of June, 2018 to be with her Lord and Savior.

Mrs. Norman was born on March 12, 1935 in Grayson County, Virginia to Lindsey McClure and Maggie Jane McRoberts Creed.

She is survived by her husband James H. Norman of Galax, Virginia; daughters and sons-in-law Pamela and David Bourne of Ennice, North Carolina; Deborah Grimes of Galax, Virginia; step –daughters and husbands Debi and Jason Stacy of Kernersville, North Carolina; Lisa and Mike Burcham of Fries, Virginia; sisters and brother-in-law Holly Carr of Galax, Virginia; Lanoria and Archie Slate of King, North Carolina; three grandsons and souses Eddie and Sarah Bourne of Sparta, North Carolina; Jesse and Natasha Bourne of Piney Creek, North Carolina; Aron Grimes of Galax, Virginia; two step-grandsons and spouse Dominick and Melissa Grimes of Ash, North Carolina; Jonathon Grimes of Galax, Virginia; one special granddaughter Amber Fink of Roanoke, Virginia; four great-granddaughters Abbegayle Bourne; Zoey Bourne; Alexis Bourne and Teagan Grimes; three step-great-granddaughters Taylor Grimes; Alyssa Grimes and Naomi Grimes; two great-grandsons Noah Grimes and Kaden Bourne; three great-grandsons Micha Grimes; Lucas Grimes and Ezra Grimes; several nieces and nephews; special caregivers Kristen Adams; Jeanette Triplet and Ausha Kayley.

The funeral service will be held Sunday, June 10, 2018 at 2:00 PM in the Camp Zion Church with Pastor Rodney Christman and the Rev. James Billings officiating. Burial will follow in the Roaring Gap Cemetery. The family will receive friends Saturday from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM at the Camp Zion Church.
