Ruby Mabe Lindamood's Obituary
Ruby Mabe Lindamood, 86, of Galax, Virginia passed away Thursday, November 8, 2012 in the Twin County Regional Hospital, Galax, Virginia. Mrs. Lindamood was born October 18, 1926 in Carroll County, Virginia to the late Roby & Pearl Howlett Mabe. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Buford Lindamood.
She is survived by her son John Marc Lindamood of Centreville, Virginia; brothers-in-law and their wives James C. and Patsy Williams of Galax, Virginia; Dr. John B. & Ella Mae H. Lindamood of Columbus, Ohio; special Lindamood family friend: Thomas L. Jones, Jr. of Galax, Virginia; special cousins H. Winfred Boaz, Jr. and Margaret N. Boaz. Other cousins, nieces and nephews also survive.
The funeral service will be held Saturday, November 10, 2012 at 2:00 PM at the First United Methodist Church, Galax, Virginia with the Rev. Richard Gregory and the Rev. Nelson Woody. Interment will follow in the Felts Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 1:00 PM until service time at the church.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the First United Methodist Church Choir, c/o First United Methodist Church, P O Box 445, Galax, VA 24333
