Ruby Irene Jones' Obituary
Ruby Irene Bryant Jones age 85 of Galax, Virginia passed away Sunday November 26, 2017 in the Waddell Nursing and Rehab Center.
Mrs. Jones was born on February 25, 1932 in Virginia to Pearlie Nathan and Trustie Mallie Barker Bryant. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by brother James D. "Jimmy" Bryant and nephew Mike Bryant.
She is survived by her husband Robert Jones of Galax, Virginia; brothers and sisters-in-law Jack B. and Bonita Bryant of Galax, Virginia; Eugene and Ida Bryant of Johnson City, Tennessee; nieces and nephews Emily Perdue of Pinnacle, North Carolina; Chris Bryant and wife Laddawan of Galax, Virginia; Nathan Bryant and Somer; Andrea Baskett and Tim all of Roanoke, Virginia; Terry Edwards and Kim of Galax, Virginia; Rod Bryant and Tracy of Fancy Gap, Virginia; Angie Lawson of Galax, Virginia.
The funeral service will be held Wednesday at 11:00 AM in the Vaughan-Guynn Chapel with Pastor Rodney Christman and Carl Bowles officiating. Burial will fofllow in the Fairlawn Cemetery. The family will receive friends Wednesday from 10:00 AM until time for the funeral service at the Vaughan-Guynn Funeral Home.
