Ruby Stoneman Hill's Obituary
Ruby Stoneman Hill age 85 of Woodlawn, Virginia passed away Wednesday, August 18, 2010 at Twin County Regional Hospital.
Mrs. Hill was born in Carroll County, Virginia on July 31, 1925 to Ted Stanford and Phoebe Davis Stoneman. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by a grandson Brad Hill.
She is survived by her husband Martin Hill of Woodlawn, Va.; son and daughter-in-law Gary and Brenda Hill of Woodlawn, Va.; granddaughter and husband Kelly and Andy Golding of Woodlawn, Va.; great-granddaughter Sadie Golding; brother and sister-in-law Elmer and Scharlene Stoneman of Mocksville, N.C.; several nieces and nephews.
The funeral service will be held Friday, August 20, 2010 at 2:00 pm at Oakland United Methodist Church with Rev. Sharon Wright and Florence Kaufman officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends Thursday evening from six until eight at Oakland United Methodist Church. In lieu of flowers the family request donations be made to Oakland United Methodist Church Building Fund.
