Ruby Bowman Burcham, age 95, of Fries, VA died at her home Sunday, March 11, 2018.

Mrs. Burcham was born Jan 26, 1923 in Carroll County, VA, to Lafayette L. (Doc) Bowman and Lena Martin Bowman. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by Daughter, Brenda Barber and an infant daughter.

She is survived by daughter, Joyce Sawyers, Galax, VA; sons & daughters-in-law, David & Debra Burcham, Danny & Debbie Burcham and Tony Burcham & fiancé, Darlene Sumner, all of Fries, VA; sisters, Ruth Warf and Mildred Ring, of Fries, VA.

Also, surviving are six grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren and several nieces & nephews.

The funeral service will be held Tuesday, March 13, 2018 at 2:00 PM in the Grace Baptist Church with burial to follow in the Mt. Olivet Cemetery, Fries, VA. The family will receive friends from 12:00 Noon until time for the funeral service at the church on Tuesday. Officiating ministers will be the Rev. Ben Haga and Bonnie Russell.
