Rubie Fern Larrowe age 90 of Galax, Virginia passed away Monday April 11, 2022 in the Woltz Hospice Home in Dobson, North Carolina.

Mrs. Larrowe was born in Carroll County, Virginia on December 17, 1931 to Thomas Gordon and Ila Mae Sumner Stoneman. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Arthur Dean Larrowe.

She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law Jane and Sam Patton; son and daughter-in-law Mike and Nikki Larrowe all of Galax, Virginia; four grandchildren Katie Patton; Jacob Patton; Alex (Taylor) Larrowe; Daniel Larrowe; and a great-grandson Oliver Dean Larrowe.

The funeral service will be held Wednesday at 11:00 AM in the Vaughan-Guynn Chapel with Pastor Dave White and the Rev. Richard Gregory officiating. Burial will follow in the Woodlawn Cemetery. The family will receive friends Wednesday from 10:00 AM until time for the service at the Vaughan-Guynn Funeral Home.
