Roy James Warf's Obituary
Roy James "Budd" Warf age 75 of Galax, Virginia passed away Tuesday, July 7, 2009 at Twin County Regional Hospital.
Mr. Warf was born in Carroll County, Va. on September 7, 1933 to Kedric and Carrie Leonard Warf.
He is survived by his wife Alma Warf; daughter & son-in-law Rosemary & Doyte Dillon all of Galax, Va.; grandchildren & spouses Bryan & Susan Dillon; Brad & Amy Dillon; Emily & Donnie Hash; great-grandchildren Adam, Spencer, Sidney and Zoe Dillon; Gavin Weatherman and Laci Hash; sisters & brother-in-law Helen Fender & Janice Hawks both of Hillsville, Va.; Linda Nixon of Fries, Va.; Edith Warf; Melba & Bobby Hawks all of Galax, Va.; Joyce Poole of Ennice, N.C.; brother & sister-in-law Ervin & Freda Warf of Galax, Va.; sister-in-law Ruth Warf of Fries, Va.; several nieces & nephews.
The funeral service will be held Friday, July 10, 2009 at 7:00 pm in Vaughan-Guynn Chapel with Craig Embree and Guy Russell, Jr. officiating. Burial will follow in Felts Memorial Cemetery. The family will receive friends Friday evening from 5:30 until service time at the funeral home.
