Roy Leon Wall age 86 of Galax, Virginia passed away Sunday November 13, 2022 at his home.

Mr. Wall was born in Wythe County, Virginia on October 23, 1936 to Roy Robert and Almeda Virginia Spencer Wall. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a son Rickey Wall and a sister Naomi Carter.

He is survived by a daughter Lisa Tickle of Bland, Virginia; son and daughter-in-law David and Amy Wall of Galax, Virginia;  grandchildren and spouse Alisha Holston; Ashley and Matthew Odebiyi; Jake Wall, Matthew Wall and Josh Wall;  three great-grandsons Elijah Holston; Gabriel Holston; William Odebiyi; sister Charlotte Davis of Galax, Virginia; brothers and sisters -in-law Don Wall of Lincoln, California; Ed and Lucy Wall of Hillsville, Virginia; Duane and Jane Wall of Max Meadows, Virginia; Gerald Wall of Galax, Virginia; several nieces and nephews; several great-nieces and great-nephews.

The funeral service will be held Wednesday at 2:00 PM in the Vaughan-Guynn Chapel with Pastor Christopher Harmon and Pastor Lisa Harmon officiating. The family will receive friends from 1:00 PM until time for the funeral service at the Vaughan-Guynn Funeral Home. Burial will be Friday at 11:00 AM in the Monta Vista Cemetery.
