Roy H. Taylor's Obituary
Rev. Roy H. Taylor age 82 of Fries, Virginia passed away Wednesday, April 28, 2010 in Golden Living Center.
Rev. Taylor was born on July 23, 1927 in Grayson County, Va. to Owen & Della Lineberry Taylor. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his first wife Marie Jones Taylor.
He is survived by his wife Evelyn Lineberry Taylor of Fries, Va.; daughter & son-in-law Judith & Butch Wimmer of Winston-Salem, N.C.; step-children Mary Webb; Sandy Brown & Michael Lineberry all of Galax, Va.; sisters Beulah Wilson of Greensboro, N.C. and Opal Funk of Galax, Va.; eight grandchildren; eleven great-grandchildren and several nieces & nephews.
The funeral service will be held Saturday, May l, 2010 at 11:00 am at Mt. Olivet United Methodist Church in Fries, Va. with Rev. Ken Blevins; Rev. J. Lloyd Pugh and Rev. Judith Wimmer officiating. Burial will follow in Mt. Olivet Cemetery. The family will receive friends Friday night from seven until nine at Mt. Olivet United Methodist Church.
