Roy Lee Moser age 92 of Galax, Virginia passed away Tuesday, February 18, 2025 in the Galax Health and Rehab Center.

Mr. Moser was born on January 12, 1933 in Independence Virginia to Fred Crockett and Maude Jennings Moser.

He proudly served his country in the US Army during the Korean War.

He is survived by his wife Iva Dell Winesett Moser of Galax, Virginia; sons and daughters-in-law Terry Lee and Sandy Moser of Ennice, North Carolina; Jeffrey Allen and Hollye Moser of Galax, Virginia; three grandchildren and spouses Christopher and Tamarah Moser of Ennice, North Carolina; Nicolas and Kelly Moser of Hillsville, Virginia; Mallorie Moser of Independence, Virginia ; one step grandson and spouse Ryan and Carissa Rios of Midlothian, Virginia; five great-grandchildren; one step great-granddaughter;  several nieces and nephews.

The funeral service will be held Sunday at 2:00 PM in the Mt. Vale Methodist Church with Pastor Charles Lindquist and Marvin Williams officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Military Rites will be conducted by the Hillsville VFW Post 1115. The family will receive friends Sunday from 1:00 PM until time for the funeral service at the Mt. Vale Methodist Church. In lieu of flowers the family respectfully request donations be made to the Mt. Vale Methodist Church.

The family would to thank the staff of  Galax Health and Rehab Center and the Mt. Valley Hospice for the love and care they gave to Mr. Moser.
